The other main problem with the torrent sites is that a lot of hackers etc, upload files there under false names, so you may think you’re downloading sonic the hedgehog only to find that you are downloading some kind of virus or trojan which will give the hacker access to your computer. Not too cool huh?
For some reason, a few people still do access the torrent sites for their downloads, even though there are some pretty cool safe alternatives around these days. The way these new kinds of sites work is that you pay a one of joining fee, say $35 or $50, and then you get access to their downloads. The downloads are super fast, and you usually get unlimited downloads too.
