Some good examples of the rare gold coin include gold coins such as the three dollar Indian Princess Head that were coined between 1854 and 1889; the Gold Stella $4 that was coined between 1879 and 1880 and the Quarter Eagle Gold Coins that were first issued in the year 1796. In fact, the earliest gold coins that were being circulated in the US were not really American gold coins but were foreign coins that came from Europe and so these are also great examples of truly rare gold coins.

Of course, you will first need to do a little bit of work before you find the right buyer who is willing to pay you the right price for your gold coins.
