Drill for making holes, milter saw for cutting trim pieces, utility knife for adjusting the stool’s fit, square ruler for marking lines, pneumatic nailer for transferring marks, jigsaw for notching portions, router for creating profiles and hand plane for edging jamb extensions. Pencil, compass, table saw, nail set, hammer, measuring tape, carpenter’s glue and sandpaper are also required.
As you head to the nearest hardware stores, you will discover that there are several styles that you can choose from. Some even date back to European periods which are more expensive though, because of the intricacy of the design. If you are on a tight budget, you can go for an unadorned item and decorate it yourself. In such manner, you are attaching a personal touch which, mind you, cannot be bought from any other shops.
There are diverse architectural flairs available from the elaborate Georgian down to the elegant Victorian. Tom Silva said that what really matters is the appearance you are dreaming of realizing.
